Dr. DeMasi, is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Medical Massage Therapist in Florida & New York States. She is a Diplomate of Acupuncture (NCCAOM) and obtained her Master of Science in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine from New York College of Health Professions in Syosset NY, where she graduated with Awards for Academic & Clinical Excellence. She has been in Practice since 2003 in NY, and relocated to South Florida in 2009. She realized the power and the necessity for Acupuncture and holistic medicine early in life. She was introduced to Acupuncture as a teenager suffering from severe Low Back Pain due to an auto accident. When Modern Western Medicine could only offer her Pain Meds (with other added side effects), she was looking for a more natural approach to managing her ailments. She turned to Alternative Holistic Medicine and never looked back. The quick response to, and success of her treatments through Acupuncture, cupping, massage & herbs were enough to set her on a Journey to study, learn & master the incredible, more than 3,ooo year old Medicine. So, she became a Practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and has been helping people Improve their Quality of Life ever since.
